When we meet, Jeremy Jones sits down in front of a wall stuffed full of art. The global head of creative at Intuit Mailchimp is an advocate for getting offline, getting inspiration from outside sources, and spending time with art.
“It’s really important for us to be inspired by art. One of the biggest things for people to do is to take a break from work so your thoughts have time to collect,” Jeremy says. “It just helps you see things from a different perspective, or just being inspired by the risk that someone’s taken or just to question things.”
Recording from Atlanta, US, for an episode of The Subthread's Brandmakers podcast, Jeremy tells me that the in-house creative team he oversees often takes time out to visit galleries or museums to break from the grind. “Being able to get out of that and go offline and get inspiration from outside sources is really important. The physical is a big deal,” he says.
